Hoover reservoir is located in the notheast of Columbus,
north of Rte. 161, off of Sunbury Road. Elaine & Bob McNulty & I
observed a Red Phalarope at Hoover Reservoir between 1:30 & 4:30
yesterday(Sunday) The bird was seen from the east shore, north of Pelican
Island. We observed the bird swimming, flying, preening, & out of the
water. On Saturday, Bill Kinkead saw the bird (10:00)south of this area
from the east shore. About 4 hours later Diana Peters saw the bird at
Pelican Island also.
