Yesterday afternoon I came across a pair of flycatchers in the lower area of
Lakeview Cemetery near the bridge (road) over the brook that feeds the two
ponds, not sure but would guess yellow-bellied. Also, most of the week just
downstream from there have been Am. Redstarts and yellow warblers. Behind Wade
Chapel by the pond with the fountain have also been yellow warblers, Am.
Redstarts, magnolias, Eastern Kingbirds, and house wrens nesting in the box on
the east side.
Last Saturday there was a Cooper's hawk on the west side of this pond playing
ring around the tree trunk with a squirrel, in the rain. Flycatchers here and
