With a free hour to search for migrants, I stopped at Jefferson Township Woods & nearby Hannah Farms Park on the east edge of Gahanna (Columbus suburb). Despite the stormy weather, there were some migrants at each spot. Most unusual, though, were a late Red-headed Woodpecker (they're almost all migrants here) and a pair of Rusty Blackbirds working a vernal pool at Hannah Farms. I've seen summer RHWP further north in Galena, but not close to Columbus, and I've never seen Rusties this late in central Ohio.
