Larry Jeanblanc, Julie Karlson, and I visited Davey Woods Nature Preserve
this morning. This area is on Lonesome Road in Champaign County east of St.
Paris. We heard about 7 singing male Cerulean Warblers in the southeastern
part of the preserve. We also got great looks at a Kentucky Warbler and also
recorded Ovenbird, Hooded Warbler, and American Redstart on the walk.
Yellow-throated and Red-eyed Vireos were numerous and we saw Scarlet
Tanagers and heard Wood Thrushes and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks.
