This evening, there was shorebird activity off the Cedar Point Chausee (the
old, back way road to Cedar Point, west of Sheldon Marsh).
Parking is prohibited, and I did not have time to park and walk out to view
them with a scope, but I was able to see that there was an assortment of
shorebirds. I don't want to embarrass myself by misidentifying birds in a
posting, but if anyone wishes to email me privately, I will tell you the eight
species I think I saw.
The birds were to the east of the road, so early morning would be a bad time
to try to view them.
