Yesterday I posted concerning finding a family of Trumpeter Swans while on
a walk and asked if it would be all right to post their location. Thank
you to all the nice folks who responded to my post and assured me that
posting their location would be all right. The swans are at Caley
Reservation in south western Lorain County. I did not see any type of
tagging or banding on the adults or juvenile swans they seemed quite wild
and were wary of my presence. I have posted a photo of them on rarebird if
anyone would like to see in the north east ohio forum.
If anyone would like directions to find them please email me off list and I
will send you directions as to where they are at Caley. They are off the
beaten path and if you have never been to Caley and don't have all day to
search they might be hard to find.
Thanks again to the folks who posted I really appreciate your assistance.
Take Care,
Matt Vosniak
