The weather today seemed conducive to birds moving on the lake. This winter
and early spring has been very slow. Waterfowl numbers have been low here
since January. Today wasn't bad, but waterfowl numbers were still not that
high, although merganser numbers were up from what it's been. Gull numbers
were decent and included glaucous and lesser black-backed gulls. The gulls
were flying overhead heading west.
