The great horned owlets at Magee have fledged since I was there a couple weeks
ago, and were posing closer to the boardwalk yesterday...just a few good viewing
gaps in the foliage by the boardwalk rail, between markers 23 & 24. By most
accounts a slow day for warblers but these guys made the trip worthwhile for
sure and still plenty of action to keep us busy including:
yellow warbler
prothonotary warbler
magnolia warbler
blackburnian warbler
bay-breasted warbler
chestnut sided warbler
palm warbler
