At the South Bass Island Lighthouse this afternoon, we saw yellow-rumped
warblers, a pine warbler, rufous-sided towhee, brown thrasher, ruby and
golden-crowned kinglets. Yesterday a walk on the Jane Coates Wildflower Trail
produced a palm warbler in addition to kinglets and another towhee.
