An after the fact thought, this morning, is that on late Thursday afternoon, on my way home from work and the Black-headed Gull excitement in the Cleveland area, I noticed that at the west end of West Branch Reservoir by Knapp Road and SR14, the two previously reported white plastic flamingoes / Great Egret imposters, were gone. Apparently whoever created this very realistic deception decided to retrieve, definitely by boat, the counterfeits from the lake for the winter.
