I do not know if anyone has this area as a block for the BBAII, but at the coordinates: 40.38615,-83.52267 . I saw and heard 10-15 Dickcissels in the field across from the fenced in lot, and heard another couple in the fenced in lot there.

The field is located on Newton Perkins Rd between Davis Rd and the RR tracks. There were powerlines for high perching there, but the birds were staying low to the ground and only venturing to the tops of the weeds that were there.

The only other excitement for me is that my Wren box given to me by Darlene, has babies...either that or the parents are storing a lot of bugs for some weird reason. :-D. There is just too many sticks in the way for visual confirmation. I hope to get pics of fledgling later.

Well, time for work!

See you out there.

Steve J.
