Most of my day was spent assisting Kim Banks with the preschool programs at Deer Haven Preservation Park today. Rained heavily much of the day but while eating lunch and viewing out the windows I managed to see 29 species. Most are the usual suspects but some more interesting finds included Pine Siskins, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, many nicely colored White-throated Sparrows, and a Mallard that pigged out atop a log platform feeder.
