I stopped around 5:00, just in time to catch the tail-end of today's earth-moving activities - there was a bulldozer in action near the mudflats and shorebird numbers were reduced from yesterday. A orange fence circles the impoundment, but there are no 'Keep Out' signs posted, yet. There is additional shorebird habitat around the impoundment's north side, which I haven't visited these past two days:
Semipalmated Plover 35
Lesser Yellowlegs 4
Semipalmated Sandpiper 25
Least Sandpiper 35
Dunlin 10
Good birding -
