Today at the BFEC we had a special Saturday walk that started at 10am. The Brown Family Environmental Center is a natural study area affiliated with Kenyon College in Knox Co. We had a pretty good turnout and a good walk. Yellow Throated Warblers were singing along the Kokosing river, Yellow Warbler made a happy appearance singing away. Bluebird bringing food to the missus in the nest box. Chimney Swifts were back.

Yellow Warbler - 2
Yellow-throated Warbler - 6
Northern Parula - 3
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 6
E. Towhee - 4
Tree Swallows - lots
Chimney swifts - 10
Wood Ducks
Belted Kingfisher
Field Sparrow - 4
Eastern Bluebird - saw about 8
I went and saw the Eurasian Teal subspecies at CVNP and also the Eared Grebe on Wed. So here are some pictures I took, not the greatest, but here is a link for your pleasure:
